Шлях до gcc недійсний при встановленні VMWare Tools з VMWare Workstation 7.1.1 build-282343 на Debian

Я намагаюся встановити інструменти VMWare на Debian Squeeze.

Моя помилка:

make
gcc
kernel headers of the running kernel

The path "/usr/bin/gcc" is not valid path to the gcc binary.

унме -а:

gcc: /usr/bin/gcc /usr/lib/gcc

Запуск цієї команди вирішив проблему:

sudo aptitude install gcc-4.3 make linux-headers-`uname -r` -y

Як сказав Гійом у коментарі ОП:

sudo aptitude install libglib2.0-0
